Premises! Mar Mar Tackle Shop is completely equipped with tackle for every
type of fishing. We offer a large selection of lures, rods, and reels. We carry live
"fish catchin" bait for Bull Shoals Lake, the White River, and nearby streams.
We are an Arkansas fishing license dealer. Souvenirs, post cards, maps, coolers, ice,
sundries, hats, and T-shirts help make your fishing day more fun and comfortable. We have
a fish freezer available for all our resort guests.

We always take genuine interest in helping you catch fish. Stop
by the tackle shop, ask for the latest tips on fishing action, and we'll be glad to help.
Fishing in the Bull Shoals area is good year around. Our central location provides fishing
enthusiasts their choice of either, or both, of the nationally famous fishing waters of
Bull Shoals Lake, the White River, the North Fork River, and Crooked Creek.
Whatever your level of experience, whatever fishery, or
species you are interested in, just ask us and we'll help.

Area Fisheries
Bull Shoals holds largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, white bass, spotted (Kentucky) bass,
walleye, crappie, catfish, blue gill, and rainbow trout. The White River boasts several
World line class record rainbow, cutthroat, and brown trout. The White River produces some of the world's largest German brown trout.The North Fork River holds the former All Tackle World Record brown trout,
which remains the 2nd largest brown ever caught. The North Fork is also famous for its
population of large brook trout as well as populations of brown, rainbow, and cutthroat.
Crooked Creek is a well-known warm water fishery especially noted for its excellent
smallmouth bass fishing.
Water Sports On Bull Shoals Lake
There's plenty of other activities if fishing is not your bag. The clear, clean
water of Bull Shoals Lake is a delight for boating, swimming, water skiing, tubing, scuba
diving, and sight-seeing. Paved launching ramps 3 minutes from Mar Mar make putting your
boat in the water easy. We are minutes from full service marinas offering all types of
boat rentals and scuba gear.
Area Attractions
Within minutes of Mar Mar you'll find 18-hole
and miniature golf, Mtn. Village 1890, Bull Shoals Caverns, float trips down the White
River, hiking, horseback riding, biking, bowling, craft and antique shops, restaurants,
and the Norfork National Fish Hatchery, one of the nation's largest. If you want to drive
an hour or two you'll find more shopping, restaurants, scenic drives caverns, scenic air
flights, Branson country music shows and the Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs. After a
