Bull Shoal Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the lower 48 states. It feels like it's your own because it is seldom crowded. When you are out on the lake you'll see very few houses. Bull Shoals Lake appeals to the boating enthusiast because of  the large open water areas. Fishermen find good luck catching several sportfish species in the lake's many coves and creek arms. Water skiing and wakeboarding are popular here because the water tends to be very smooth most of the time. Even on windy days you can usually find smooth skiing water.

Twin Forks Resort is on a paved road. We are shaded by tall hardwoods and have plenty of space with no other buildings close by. Twin Forks has a swimming pool (see photo at top of page), playground, recreation building, volleyball, basketball, and a pond. If you're looking for the variety of entertainment Branson provides, it's a little over an hour's drive, and Bass Pro Shop is a little further down the road in Springfield. Twin Forks Resort is in the True Ozarks, where there are more deer than people! When driving around the area you'll look out over several miles of countryside into the rolling Ozark ridges and peaks. Wide open vistas across mountains and the lake are common. Within a 15 minute drive of  Twin Forks you'll find several scenic roads. The near-by towns of  Theodosia and Isabella Missouri are about 10 minutes away where you'll find a full service marina, restaurants, gas stations, churches, ATM machines, Laundromats, and an 18 hole golf course. What you won't find are crowds, traffic, and lines. When you want a truly peaceful vacation getaway, visit the True Ozarks.

At Twin Forks Resort on Missouri Bull Shoals Lake, we have12 carpeted housekeeping cottages in 4 different sizes with accommodations for 2, or families up to 10. There's plenty of room for family reunions and group gatherings of all kinds. All cottages come with fully equipped kitchens and barbecue grills. Cribs and extra beds can be added in some units. Bed linens and a set of towels for each occupant are furnished. Bath, hand, wash cloths, and kitchen towels are exchanged in the office once during a week's occupancy (if you require more than this, please bring your own).  Pool towels are NOT furnished. There is a Laundromat nearby in Isabella about 10 minutes away.

Our single cottages are one room units with a double bed, studio couch, kitchen, shower, ceiling fan, air conditioner, color TV, microwave, and a picnic table on the screened porch.

The one bedroom cottages have a double bed in the bedroom, and one double bed and a sofa-bed in the living area. They have screened-in porches with picnic tables, kitchen, shower, air conditioner, a ceiling fan in the bedroom, a color TV, microwave, and carpeting in the bedroom and living areas.

Our double cottages are one room units which are the same size as our one-bedroom units, but with no separate bedroom. They have two double beds and a twin bed, screened-in porch with picnic table, kitchen, microwave, shower, ceiling fan in bedroom, air conditioner, color TV.

The two-bedroom cottages have two separate carpeted bedrooms. (Some have double beds in each, one has twin beds in one bedroom, and another has one double bed in one of the two bedrooms). There's a corner group in the living area that converts into two single beds. There are screened-in porches with picnic tables, kitchen, microwave. full bath, air conditioner, ceiling fan in bedrooms, and color TV.

In our office we offer bait, tackle, fishing permits, freezer space for your catch, gas, ice, and literature of area attractions. We have gifts and handmade remembrances in our gift shop. There's a swimming pool for your enjoyment if you don't feel like going out on the lake or sight-seeing. You can relax with a good book or lay and enjoy the sun, the quiet, and the beauty of the Ozarks. We have a playground with swings, slide, large sandbox, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and shuffleboard.  Also, we have a recreation building with video, pinball, pool table, jukebox, and table tennis. There's always something fun for the kids to do and surely they would love to have you join in the fun!

Please make your reservations early in the year to ensure availability. There is a minimum reservation requirement of 2 nights. 7th day is FREE. A 10% discount on cottage rates on reservations of 5 days or more is available before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.- Guests are responsible for days requested. Check-in time is 3:00pm, check-out time is 9:00am.  One boat or single dock stall space is furnished with each cottage reservation on a first come-first served basis. NO PETS PLEASE!

We do not accept credit cards. Deposit requirements are $60 for a 2-day reservation, and $100 for a 1-week reservation. Balance for your entire reservation is due upon arrival. Deposits are refunded on reservation cancellations only if the cottage is re-rented.

We have a private lighted, covered boat dock with electric outlets at each stall, a shed for storing tackle, a fish cleaning station, and a concrete boat launching ramp. The dock is within walking distance from Twin Forks Resort. Our dock is an excellent starting point for a day on the water fishing, skiing, boating, or scuba diving.

Hwy. 60 East to Mansfield. Highway 5 south to Gainesville. At Gainesville turn
west on U.S. 160 to road "HH" in Isabella. We are the last resort on road HH.

. . . from St. Louis, North & East
1-44 out of St. Louis to Rolla and there take 63 south to Cabool. In Cabool take 60 west to Mansfield where you'll turn south on Hwy 5 ... take 5 to the outskirts of Gainesville. 5 merges with 160 here going west ... stay on 160 to HH in Isabella. We are the last resort on HH.
