Experience
the twin fishing worlds of the Bull Shoals Dam
area . . . Bull
Shoals Lake and the White River.

29 lbs. of exciting Bull Shoals
fishing action!
|
Above the dam, crystal clear Bull Shoals
Lake has long been a legend among bass fishermen. Its nearly 50,000 acres offers an
abundance of exciting fishing action all year around. In addition to lunker Largemouth,
Smallmouth, and Spotted Bass, our strong, active populations of Walleye, Crappie, Lake
& Rainbow Trout, White Bass and Stripers, Catfish, and the perennial favorite -
Panfish, all add up to make your Bull Shoals Lake fishing trip one you'll remember for a
long time. Fishing is open all year with no closed season and more record fish have been
taken from Bull Shoals Lake than any other lake in the USA!

Experience the fight of a Bull Shoals Smallmouth!
|
Your first trip to Bull Shoals Lake? We recommend you bring a light to medium heavy action
rod & reel with green 6 to 8 lb. test line. The best advice we can give you is to
forget everything you've ever learned about fishing! The depth and crystal clear water of
the big Bull presents a challenge and requires tackle choices and methods unique to the
Ozarks. Current lake level, water temperature, and weather conditions at the time of
your visit will determine which pattern to use.

Crappie, Walleye, Trout, Bass - Bull Shoals has 'em all!
|
The White River below Bull ShoalsDam contains one of the most world reknown trout
fisheries. Along with its tributaries, it is con- sidered the best fishery for trophy
Brown Trout in the world with 15 - 20 pound Browns being fairly common and has produced
several world and state records. Whether wade fishing or float trip, the White River
offers anglers an exciting world-class fishing experience year around. Again, conditions
during your visit will determine the best choice of bait and fishing times.
